Kudos to Aaron! I have two dogs and the job I hate most is "clean up" for them. Ahh the price we pay for pet ownership! When my granddaughter comes to visit I would say "I have a job for you", the first words out of her mouth were "Oh no not picking up the dog poop". That was a scene played out so many times, but after purchasing the SASI Scoop clean up is a no brainer and no mess. I don't think any of us enjoy the role of "Seargent Pooper". but the love of our animals makes it a must on the chore list. I bought the S.A.S.I. Scoop about 4 or 5 years ago when we got a Golden Retriever. I love it so much! No more bending over, it's quick, convenient and helps me recycle those darned grocery sacks. Recently one of the pegs broke off of mine (my bags got heavy very quickly) and when I went to replace it at PetSmart, they didn't carry them anymore. I want to commend you on your pooper scooper! It drew my attention at the pet store when I saw that it had been invented by a 10 year old. I imagined you participating in your school's "Invention Convention" and felt that any product coming as a result of that effort was worth a try. It's the best of the scoops I've used, and having the sack attached makes it so much easier. (At one time, I used a pasta scoop because the teeth would "comb" through the grass and carried a plastic sack to dump it in. Great minds think alike, but you took it much further.) It was invented by a very thoughtful 10-year-old boy named Aaron, who designed
it to make his daily chore much easier. Smart kid!! It makes use of plastic
grocery sacks and works incredibly well in both grass and in decorative rock.
No-touch, one-handed operation; super-easy pick-up and disposal; no bending
over; no mess; rinses clean. It truly lives up to it's name.
One modification: I put the bag through the inside of the scoop, and the teeth
of the scoop through the bag (pictures attached) to attach the bag much more
securely and to keep the scooper and the outside of bag a lot cleaner. You can
double-up the bags this way too. Just unhook the handles of the bag from the
sides of the scooper, and tie them together in a couple knots. Sacked, sealed,
and sent to the dumpster!

If you must scoop this is the scooper for you! It does a fantastic job picking - up! It's so easy to use and the fact that it uses ordinary grocery bags is extraordinary and economical! The rake on the front of the scoop gently combs through the grass without pulling it out. I also love the fact that it's handle is long enough to do the job without stooping over, what a back saver! I just had to let you know that your invention is a sure fire hit in my home and I will recommend it to all my dog loving friends! It's so easy to use I'm amazed at your ingenuity! What a wonderful invention your "Scoop And Sack It (S.A.S.I)" is! I had to let you know how much easier "pick up time" is at our home. Your S.A.S.I is the third name brand pooper-scooper that we have tried. The first one broke, the second one did not perform as promised (the bag kept falling off) and the third one wore off long before it's time. Your S.A.S.I. was going to be the last one we tried before going back to the spade shovel that we used when we were kids. You can adjust the plastic bags to fit it (and have it stay on!) is the unique advantage of your invention. I have yet to have a bag fall off! Another is the adjustable handle to fit me at 5'4" and my husband at 6'4". We can both use the S.A.S.I. without bending over and hurting our backs. Never give up on your ideas.
